New studio in Reading

We are delighted to announce the opening of our new studio in Caversham, Reading.

Opened by Ian Wilson (formerly working in publishing), Ian completed both the Photography and Wedding courses taking the Fast Track route to opening a Barrett & Coe franchise.

Ian told us “It’s only been five months since I walked onto the Barrett & Coe stand at the National Franchise Exhibition where we talked about the possibility of fulfilling a life long desire to become a professional photographer.

Its now March 2011 and I‘ve just opened my studio in Caversham, Reading and have a rapidly filling diary of family and baby portrait shoots.”

Franchise

A good test of a franchise is what the existing franchisees do at the end of their five year contract.

In the last six weeks no less than three Barrett & Coe Franchisees have signed for a further five years.

We have made acceptance as a franchisee more difficult to achieve. We are looking for only the very best to join us. The courses give a great opportunity to assess possible recruits and following that all three members of our management team have to agree on the applicants suitability.

Our objective is very clear: To have one hundred studios that provide 'fantastic photography...by very nice people'.

Barrett & Coe Baby of the Year 2010

To the left is the winning image of Barrett & Coe Baby of the Year Competition 2010.

The winning baby receives a cheque for £1,000 paid direct into their child saving account.

The quality of photography being produced by ex students for this competition is improving all the time and there usually between 1,500 and 2,000 votes per month.
