Course feedback

Following our Portrait course that finished on January 7th, Catherine Price who achieved a Grade 1 Barrett & Coe diploma wrote:

“The course has given me an amazing amount of confidence which was one of my main objectives. I have come home from each visit full of enthusiasm and confidence. The course is so practical and directly relates to real life.

The staff have been lovely. Brian and Andrew clearly are very experienced and knowledgeable and always happy to impart this to others. Expert knowledge and advice is worth paying for and so on this basis I feel it has been money very well spent.

I would advise anyone thinking about taking the course to stop thinking about it and sign up and give it everything they can.”

Grade One Diplomas

Of the Grade One Diplomas achieved last Friday two have have taken Fast Track Barrett and Coe franchises, and are just about to open studios in Edinburgh and Reading.  This takes us to over 20 new studios in the last 12 months.  The other two graduates are starting their own part time businesses, one specialising in Portraits and one in Weddings.  We have already been able to assist by giving one an area for Emma's Diary baby leads, and the other a wedding enquiry.

We have no problem with people coming on our courses not taking a franchise, as most want to start part time in the first instance,whilst keeping their existing job going.

In the case of the Edinburgh and Reading studios we have assisted and advised on location and terms of the lease.  Once the lease is signed we will visit to help with layout, decor, and display.  At the same time Elaine Shepherd, National Studio Development Manager, will help with a Business and Marketing Plan  prior to the launch of the studio.
