We provide a comprehensive and effective support and development programme which takes a new starter at initial induction through to an established and successful franchisee.
Our three day intensive programme (based at Head Office in Norwich) gives you the opportunity to meet the Barrett & Coe Team through the planned presentations, training and activities. The induction course covers:
This is essential in order to be able to determine breakeven point and therefore studio targets. Our National Studio Development Manager will go through this process with you and complete a cash flow forecast which will then be signed off by Head Office and used as a tool to guide you to achieve your business goals.
An essential step in highlighting and organising your focus and time within your working week in order to ensure you achieve your studio targets. Our National Studio Development Manager will take you through this as the next step on from your budget and business planning meeting.
Every new franchisee has the benefit of access to our National Studio Development Manager for advice on a number of topics including potential premises, branding and layout, budget and cash flow forecasting, sales and marketing planning and support, session and viewing observations and overall Barrett & Coe studio operations. Each studio visit is documented in the form of a report with agreed actions, along with an audit which acts as a framework to ensure that your franchise business is meeting the high expectations consistent with a fully branded Barrett & Coe studio.
Every new franchisee is assigned an experienced franchisee mentor who can act as a point of contact alongside our National Studio Development Manager for all those questions and queries that arise particularly in the early stages of your business. The programme involves a scheduled weekly call for the first 3-6 months of your franchise between you and your mentor. You will also be able to visit their studios as per your requirements to look at their premises and observe sessions, viewings and general studio operation.
Once up and running our National Studio Development Manager is available to visit and sit in on session and/or viewing appointments in a live environment in order to highlight any development areas that can be improved on in order to increase sales and average order potential.
These are run by Our National Studio Development Manager and past Kodak Photographer of the Year David MacDonald and take place twice a year in nominated locations for all franchises to attend. The day is a mix of updates, sales, marketing and photography training.
